Interesting Friday

This weekend started a bit interesting and different from the usual. I woke up Friday morning at 5AM to join a friend at Early Bird in Jabriya for a quick breakfast. I thought we would be the only ones having breakfast there so early but I was wrong! They had a pretty decent crowd considering early morning. Had a Spanish omlette and orange juice which was good but a little heavy for that early morning. Didn't mind that knowing I had a long drive ahead...

My friend had just recently bought a new Ducatti Monster and wanted to break-in the engine with some extra km's. So the plan was he is supposed to ride while I follow him in my car towards south. I had my play-list on and had the cruise control setup and that was one relaxing 150+ km's drive and back. We stopped on our way twice..once to take a small break and second time to fill up petrol before heading back to Bid3a Starbucks for some drinks.

This wasn't the end!!


We then planned to watch 'Shrek Forever After' @ 360 mall after Friday prayers. I have to say I love that cinema and the crowd there. Its a bit different from other malls. Don't you agree? We had small sandwiches from Kurdos and rushed to get our tickets as we didn't book in advance. And there we were munching our popcorn while enjoying the movie. . .
